Hooymans train going!

With beautiful weather, blue sky and white clouds our pigeons were released last Saturday at Quievrain, at 10:15.
For us, a distance of over 190 kilometers. Our pigeons handles the headwind often good, so our expectations were with the
predicted north-east wind also quite positive.

Quievrain-Kerkdriel

We expected a rate of 1200mpm, over 70km / h. It was a little later, the first pigeon arrived at 12:55, but unfortunately remained circling until 12:57 when some loft mates also arrived in Kerkdriel. We pack 50 prizes of 105 pigeons, almost 50%!

Regional we start against 2.077 pigeons with these prizes: 21-22-29-30-31-32-34 and 19 pigeons in the top 100!

* The first pigeon is the NL14-1209116 a widow hen. Her father is a double grandson of the “Cannibal” direct Dirk van Dyck. Mother is 11/493, a full sister to ‘Harry’.
* The second is the NL14-1209225, a cock. He comes from “Blue Arie” (directly Arie Dijkstra, from Leonardo Tinkerbell x) associated with the 09/422, a full sister of “Harry”.
* The third pigeon is the NL14-1209126, a cock. His father 11/642 is a full brother of “Harry”. Mother is the 12/552 and she is bred from a son of “Cassius” (Koopman) paired to a daughter of “Superboy 666 x Daughter” Gebr. Scheele.
* The fourth pigeon is the NL14-1209027, a cock. He comes directly from “Uncle Sjaak” (4th NPO Chateauroux and full brother Harry). Mother of the 027 is the 11/018 (inbreeding Cannibal through Herman Pouw).
