At Saturday 2nd September, in Afdeling 3 Oost Brabant the race from Sens was on the program for the young birds. Provincially 2.865 pigeons were basketed. The birds have to work to race the 400 km back home, because of a north/northwest wind.
Glorious winners of the race became Henri, Pieter and Geert de Lau from Eersel, who won the total stage (1-2-3) !
Their winning pigeon raced at 1194 meters per minute, this shows the heaviness of the race. The winning hen, 17/351, is bred from “Brother Friendship” and he is a grandson to “Harry” x “Last One”. Friendship herself won 1st National Chateauroux KBDB for Rik Hermans, and she was fastest of 44.314 pigeons!!
Hereby the pedigree of the 17/351 winner of De Lau. The week before, 351 won also a topprize, 2nd Quievrain against 2.981 birds!
