Third day long distance flight Issoudun under nice circumstances. Daughter New Harry in the lead!

On Saturday 22 June, the third day long distance race of this season was flown under beautiful summer conditions, from the 590 kilometers distant Issoudun. The pigeons were released at 7:00 am and at a speed of more than 1100 meters per minute the head pigeons came home, so a wonderful flight. We had 100 pigeons in the basket and our first pigeon made 1137 meters per minute. The pigeons came home nicely and we grab in the Sector against over 14,000 pigeons no less than 28 pigeons 1:10. The price percentage was 49% (49 out of 100). It can always be better, of course, and that’s what we strive for, but it is not easy this season to be able to keep the pigeons stable in shape.

Our first pigeon was the NL17-1410221, daughter “New Harry” who also already won 5th in the division on Pont St Maxence against 15,323 pigeons. Now she takes a nice 18th National Issoudun against around 14,000 pigeons.

As said, our first pigeon was a daughter of “New Harry”, she won her 8th prize in 11 basketings. Incidentally, it is unbelievable how often we have already led a child of this new super breeder. Team Hooymans NL also wins another regional victory with a direct daughter of “New Harry”.

Second came the yearling hen NL18-5141036, a very nice chequer hen and also very stable in performance. Her best achievement so far was an 11th Prov. Pont St Maxence against 15,323 pigeons. Last day’s long distance race she scored a nice 117th NPO Bourges. She takes her 8th prize in 10 baskets. She is a full sister of the 1st Ace Pigeon in Pattaya International Pigeon Race 2018 (PIPR) in Thailand. Her father is a son of “New Harry” and her mother is inbred to “Jonge Bliksem” (father Harry).

Third came the yearling cock NL18-5002143, also a stable pigeon that now takes 7th prize in 9 baskets. At Sezanne he won the 43rd NPO against 11,709 pigeons and now the 54th National Issoudun. His father comes from Harrie Kennes and gives the “400”, 1st National Ace Pigeon Middle Distance NPO. Mother is a daughter of “Harry” (then coupled against daughter of Da Vinci x Hilde).
