Training from Duffel

Last Saturday, April 8th a training from Duffel (95km) was on the program.

We basketedĀ 115 pigeons, at a total of 402 pigeons in the club and over 3,000 pigeons in Region C.
At 11:15 they could be unloaded, with a quiet west wind.

Just an hour later the first pigeons arrived, but unfortunately a few minutes were lost upon entering,
so that the risk could be overlooked on a nice quotation.
Nevertheless, we are quite satisfied with the training, the pigeons came well short and were on time (if they came in).

The task now is to get them a little tighter in the regime so that next Saturday at the first clock flight they will come better inside.

The first clocked pigeon, moreover, was 12/016, a five-year old widow hen.
She was 10th Ace Middle Distance in Section 7 Middle Netherlands in 2015 and she even has a 11th NPO Bergerac to her name!
Her father comes from Horst & Frank Sander from the Eurostar line.
Mother of the 016 is a full sister to Harry.
A full brother/sisterĀ of 12/016 won in 2012 a car in a racing hotspot of South Africa Million Dollar Pigeon Race!
