1st NATIONAL NANTEUIL – 14.422 pigeons with Granddaughter “NEW HARRY” !!

In our satellite loft in Wijk and Aalburg with team member Christian van de Wetering, pigeons have been tested from the Hooymans breeding stable for several years now. Many top scores have been achieved, but last weekend 1 September 2018 there was a new highlight: 1st-8th-9th-19th National Nanteuil Sector III against 14.422 pigeons (from no less than 1.044 different lofts) in beautiful sunny pigeon weather with a very calm east – Northeast breeze.
A phenomenal result, achieved by 4 grandchildren from New Harry !!

We wrote earlier that New Harry and Harry Junior seem to be very worthy successors to the unfortunately deceased “Harry”.
This weekend it was confirmed again that “Harry” carefully passed on his good genes to his grandson “New Harry” because 4 different (!!) children of New Harry each give a top score (1st or 8th or 9th or 19th) National against more than 14,000 pigeons.
However, the cake is not on because the 41st, 51st and 56th National of 14.422 pigeons are even direct children of “New Harry” and 47th and 90th are grandchildren “New Harry” !!
You know the saying: “Do you still like snow peas”?

The 1st National winner is a shale hen, named “Jane” with number NL18-5002214.

It was not her 1st piece of art this 1st National, because a few weeks ago she won the 8th NPO Roye Afd.7 against 5.996 pigeons. (also teletext mention).
Her father is the NL17-1409749 a late cock of 2017. Directly placed on the breeding loft.
His father is “New Harry”. His mother is “Sister Harry”.
Mother of the winner is NL15-1850808 via Christian v.d. Wetering.
Her father is “Blue Brave” and her mother is “Stareye”. (In fact, the 808 is a half-sister of “New Harry” and “Harry Junior”.)

The 8th National of 14.422 birds is NL18-5002187.

The 9th Nationaal against 14.422 duiven is NL18-5002201.

In our own loft we had made the step of 115km to give the boy the basket experience.
We had basketed 105 pieces, the expectations were not high, but after the 5th NPO Niergnies of last week we hoped to turn a pigeon on time. In the end we won the 55th National against 14.422 pigeons and won 36 prizes in the Sector of 105 pigeons. As expected, it was not sublime, but the fact is that the boy got lots of experience again.
