Last Saturday we received an app from Jouke Elzinga: “This would be a stunt!”, With a picture of the reporting list of National Sector 4 long distance race Sens (593km) on which the name Tj. & J. Elzinga were number 1.
Quickly we looked at the ring number, and yes: the NL17-4289807 was their first clocked pigeon. A few hours later this 807 became the National winner Sector 4 of Sens against 8,762 pigeons. What made it an extra big stunt, as Jouke put it, is that this 807 last week won the 1st NPO Morlincourt from Province 11 against 8,939 pigeons (also 2nd National Sector 4 against 17.506 pigeons)!
It was a fast flight of 1695 mpm last week, this long distance race was a tough one with 1228 mpm! What an all-rounder. Two firsts NPO in 14 days time. Below the two results:
The pigeon that performed this is as mentioned the NL17-4289807 a beautiful blue cock, see picture below
The double NPO winner descends from our Harry on the paternal side. The father of the winner is “Hallilujah”, a joint breeding of “Harry” coupled against “Esmee” the absolute top pigeon of Tjeerd and Jouke Elzinga. From this “Hallilujah” more top pigeons are already coming.
See the pedigree of the 807 below:
