Batenburg – vd Merwe has a fantastic 2017 season with beautiful top notations.
After the 1st and 5th National Agen Jaarlingen ZLU, in which the “Hooymans blood” was richly represented, On Narbonne ZLU it was again a party for Hugo and Anita and the team.
International totally 18,927 pigeons were unloaded at 6:45 pm. Their yearling duivin NL16-1509066 tipped at the antenna at 19:31 after a flight of almost 13 hours and 963 kilometers. This meant a speed of 1256 meters per minute. National good for 2nd prize and international 4th to 18,927 pigeons!
Again in this pigeon of Batenburg – vd Merwe was the Hooymans blood to be found. The mother of the 4th International is a direct daughter of “Hilde” (sister Harry). This pigeon bred Hugo in 2016 the 8th International Narbonne ZLU Yearlings !!
Hilde is also the grandmother of the 1st National Acebird Middle Distance NPO in 2016 at Poelstra & Znn. Also the 1st and 5th National Agen ZLU of Hugo Batenburg – vd Merwe are bred from a great granddaughter of “Hilde”. Also note that the 1st National Acebird Long Distance of Japan (2016) is also a gr.grandchild of “Hilde”, as well as the 1st National Gien young pigeons against 11,848 pigeons (2016) and we can rightly say that offspring of Hilde can make a difference!
