2-5-7-10-11-13 Vierzon and 2x top10 Pont St. Maxence

Last Saturday there were two flights on the program, middle dinstance Pont St Maxence (338km) and  NPO flight Vierzon (559km). Due to the beautiful weather, the pigeons were released early, 7:00 pm and Pt Max 7:30.

The wind was south / southwest, so the speed would be slightly higher, around 90 km / h.

At Vierzon we had 97 pigeons in the basket, of which about 40 ZLU pigeons, 40 hens and 17 old widowers.
At Pont St Maxence we had given the yearling cocks, 36 in total.

The first pigeons of Vierzon arrived at 13:34 (1418mpm) after about 6.5 hours flight. As expected, we came too short for the NPO department but in the region we are doing well. The difference between the race team and the ZLU pigeons was good to see. At the first 40 clocks we only watch 5 ZLU pigeons.

In our club against 313 birds we won: 2-5-7-10-11-13-18-25-26 etc. (97/26)

In Regio C1 against 738 duiven we won: 6-12-14-17-19-25-37-48-49 etc. (97/32)
In our department we won 3x top100 NPO against 5.053 birds: 67-80-90-117-129-180 etc. (97/41) en 19x 1:10.

In view of the wind, we are not dissatisfied, and the price% is also good at around 50% price if we do not count the ZLU pigeons.

Our first bird was a 2 year old pigeon (hen), 15-1849185. She wins the 67th NPO Vierzon.
Her father is from “James Bond” x “Halfsister Henkie”.
Her mother is from “Harry” x “Paulien”, co-bred with Albert Derwa.

Our second one was a 2-year-old cock, 15-1849177 and he wins the 80th NPO Vierzon.
His father is an inbred Kannibaal (direct Dirk van Dyck).
His mother is “Alexia” (1st NPO Chateauroux and full sister Harry).

Our third pigeon was “Marus” (14/212) who is well on track with a 5th Melun against 3.447 pigeons.
From Vierzon he wins the 90th NPO. Hopefully he gets some races with headwind this year, because his qualities will really come up.
His father is “The 4000” (full brother Harry) and his mother is “Ariëlle” (directly Arie Dijkstra).

At Pont St. Maxence we had 36 yearling doffers because we did not want to put them on the daily fund.
Again we had the 495/16 first followed by the 355/16, and they make 1479 and 1471mpm.
At this rate we do not fit in Section 7, but in the club it is good for the 8th and 10th against 350 pigeons.

The 495 comes from “Blue Baron” (Colijn & Fox) with a daughter of “Harry x Alexia”.
The 355 comes from “Harry” linked to “Daughter Good Black” (Victor Massart (B))
