1st and 5th National Agen ZLU Yrls with Harry / James Bond line !!

Yesterdaynight 4th of July, the birds from Agen ZLU came home…

The ZLU specialists Hugo Batenburg – vd Merwe from Klaaswaal did send a super team to Agen ZLU and their expectations were high. Close after 20:00h, the first bird arrived, a dark chequer cock. Fiftheen minutes later, the second bird arrived, a full sister of the first one! To make a long story short…these yearlings won 1st and 5th National Agen ZLU Yearlings against 5.930 birds!! An incredible result from Hugo.

Also for us, Team Hooymans, the sun goes to shine in the night…because both birds consist for 75% of “Hooymans genes” !! After the 1st National Bordeaux ZLU at Cor de Heijde some seasons ahead, and the 1st NPO Bergerac of last week at Leen Pruijsen, again a proof that our Hooymans pigeons can perform very well at the 1000km races!! Great reason to unscramble the champagne !!!

The father from the 1st and 5th National is a co-bred between Hugo Batenburg vd Merwe and Jan Hooymans.
Topbreeder “James Bond” (brother Harry) was paired to “Marseille Queen” (4e Nat. Marseille) from Hugo.

The mother of the 1st and 5th National is an original Jan Hooymans hen. She is bred from the pairing “Son Harry” x “Daughter Harry“. Also we see “Hilde” (sister Harry) and “Marijke” (Koopman) in the pedigree.

As an honor to Jan Hooymans and also for good friendship, Hugo gived his winner the beautiful name “De Jan” …
