4 Hooymans birds in top100 Final Victoria Falls OLR Zimbabwe

Last Friday, January 26, the final race of the Victoria Falls One Loft Race was flown in Zimbabwe.

At a distance of 410 kilometers the pigeons were released at 6:00 in Chipangali.
In total, 1128 pigeons competed for the honorary metal. From Team Hooymans there are 12 pigeons in the race.
In the preliminary phase, our pigeons did a good job and regularly nice quotations were made.

The final flight was not heavy for the first pigeons (around than 4.5 hours flying, almost 90 km / h), but those who could not join the breakaway got it heavy because of the rising temperatures, leaving only 305 pigeons on the day of release to reach the home port.

Of these 305 pigeons, however, 7 belonged to Team Hooymans, which in itself is a good percentage (7 out of 12 at the top 305).
The next day 2 Hooymans pigeons arrived so that the total quickly reached 9/12. Tribute for Mike Ganus, who makes a world cap with the 1st and 3rd prize.

Our first pigeon was “Morgan”, which arrived together with several other pigeons, including with the “AML Ferrari” from Andreas Moeller (from Grandson Harry + Alexia), which finished 16th in the Final.
Our “Morgan” finally comes in as 23rd. The father comes directly from “James Bond” and the mother from “Harry”. We also see Arie Dijkstra blood and a touch of Willem de Bruijn.

Our second pigeon, “Mirto” arrived 7 minutes later and won the 54th Final.
Father of “Mirto” is a direct son of “Harry” and “Birdy” (best Million Dollar racer ever).
Mother comes directly from “New Harry” coupled to a Veenstra hen.

Our third pigeon, “Just” enters just after Mirto and wins the 56th Final.
Just was bred out of a full brother Harry and a hen from “Dolce Beauty” (Veenstra) x “Mother Henkie” (Melis).

The 4th pigeon was also a beautiful time pigeon, the “Raki” won the 86th Final.
Raki also won a 14th and 57th prize at the Hot Spot Races.
Father is also a brother “Harry” and mother is a daughter of the Dreampair of Ms. Snellen & Zn.
